Healing Service - Sunday 10:00 AM

Healing in our Spiritualist church comes through many techniques but all through the same source, the Heavenly Father.  As Spiritualists, we believe in the power of being channels of Divine love and healing.  In our service, the Healer performs an art known as magnetic healing.  This technique allows the connective channels of the Divine channel flow through the healer and into the aura or energy centers in the body of the recipient.  Healing may come to the recipient in many ways.  Sometimes healing is immediate; sometimes it may take a few hours for the energy to settle into the recipient.  The only sure way for a healing to take effect is for all channels, the healers and recipients, to be focused on allowing the energy to flow.   If you do not believe in the healing and you go up to a Healer and get a healing just for the “kicks” of it, you are wasting your time as well as the time of the Healer.  When the flow of healing is allowed to happen, a beautiful thing can occur and healing can take place.

In no means are we saying to "fire the doctor", as we are not medical people but are meant to work in harmony with the medical field, to deliver faith that healing can take place.

Another technique of healing we perform is a healing list.  We write names of our loved ones who need a healing touch of the Great Source.  We meditate for those on the healing list to be healed from all disharmonies.  This is one form of absent healing that we perform often, and with our healing prayers, miracles can happen.

In our church, we have a healing meditation as a portion of our service.  The idea of this meditation is to help each individual to be a channel of healing for their own energies.  When each individual learns of the energy they have within themselves and how to tap into it, then an opening to a new door of healing can be perceived.  All people have an ability to heal; it is up to each individual to allow the natural flow to emanate.

Healing techniques are cultured arts from Shamanic lands to far eastern countries.  This article is just to “get your feet wet” on the subject.  There is so much in healing to study that one can devote their life to healing knowledge in itself.

When healing, one can revert to working with chakras, healing chants and mantras, prayer, herbal healing, and astral healing.  These are a few I am going to touch on, and hopefully give you a perception of how faith and healing can provide relief to the hurting soul.

Chakras are a Sanskrit term for the seven major turning energy sources found within the body to help alter ones spirit in the joining of higher conscious thinking.  It is the link between the soul’s journey and the spiritual awakening to the Divine.  Each chakra has an individual energy drive and lesson; together they spiral man’s existence to look at the many different experiences along the journey.

These are the colors and alignments:

                   Crown Chakra - White

                   Third Eye Chakra - Violet

                   Throat Chakra - Blue

                   Heart Chakra - Green

                   Solar Plexus - Yellow

Sacral Plexus (Spleen Chakra) - Orange

                   Root Chakra - Red

The Root Chakra connects us to Mother Earth and our life in the physical planes.  It is associated with the life force.  It helps you be grounded and focus on daily living.

The Sacral Plexus helps us understand our creativity and allows us to see the beauty of things we can become and make happen.  It helps us free ourselves from the ties of “fitting in” and allows us to see our individuality.

The Solar Plexus, the biggest chakra in our body, draws in energy from our environment and allows us to feel or sense things around us.  This Chakra allows us to have our gut instincts or feeling of different things in our space that we are dealing with and can help us make decisions on our journeys of life.

The Heart Chakra connects us with those around us in emotions of love and allows us to feel and send emotions to others.

The throat chakra is for self expression and sending out into the world and universe our thoughts or needs.

The Third Eye helps us perceive the many worlds around us.

The Crown Chakra connects our souls to spirit consciousness and the Divine source.

Learning more about the chakras and keeping them in good condition can tremendously help you heal and develop communication with the other worlds.

Chants and mantras are performed to help sustain an energy thought within the aura for spiritual uplifting and healing.  There are many chants in many languages.  The idea is to make our spirits resonate with the one source.  It is not that we are calling and pleading with the Great Source out in the universe to bring us energy, but to ask the Great Source within ourselves to resonate with the energy of the universal flow.  Most Christian churches criticize chants saying that God should hear your prayers the first time you ask, but how often does man forget to ask his own spirit to pay attention and to emanate what he is asking for?  It is nice to express what one wants, but it is better for one to become a clear channel for that which he has asked for.  Chants help you clear yourself to hear the answer God gives and allow the greater source to give you knowledge of what is the greater plan on your journey.

Herbal healing is a field of its own.  You must avid in your studies of herbs to know what to use and when to use them.  Consultation with a doctor is a sure way to make sure you don’t have any interactions with medicines or allergic reactions to an herb. Do not try any herbal remedy without testing it for allergic reactions first.

Astral healing is a healing of its own.  A lot of absent healing is performed this way since the recipient does not have to be in the same place to receive healing.  In the astral world, you can work on the mental healing planes of a person and work through their energies.  The astral world is tapped through mental focus and is a world to be studied if you plan to make a journey there.  There are a lot of beautiful and neat experiences to come from this world, but you can also see things not positive in nature if you are not prepared to take the journey.  This world is created by the mentality of this realm and other realms connected to ours, so if you think of the mental of our world, you can understand there are many misguided entities out there.

These are just some points of healing and our spirit’s capabilities.  To learn more, visit our church, we are willing to help each soul on their journey to health and awareness.
