Spirit communication is a major study. There were people like Houdini who worked to expose frauds that claimed to be mediums. Although there have been frauds found, that does not disclaim many other mediums who undergone scientific and physical testing to prove that the spirit world can and does communicate in many ways.

Daniel Dunglas Homes is one person who was never exposed as fraudulent, yet he levitated, rooms shook as if by thunder, and “phantom” hands appeared in front of very prominent people and scientist.                             

Scientist Sir William Crookes investigated the medium Florence Cook, as she would materialize a spirit named Katie King.  The interesting part of this story is that the medium and spirit looked identical, with the exception of the spirit Katie King being six inches taller then Florence and Katie didn’t have earrings or the holes for them that Florence Cook had. During the séance, Florence was tied to her chair at times, and allowed herself to be treated like a scientific research. Even under these conditions, Katie still materialized and proved that she was a separate entity from Florence. Once, Katie even told Crookes to move Florence’s head because she slipped on the couch in her trance state. Crookes went to the sofa to find Florence in the slouched position as the spirit told her she was.

Amongst these gifted people was Grace Rosher who did automatic writings and received messages from the departed as well as from Crookes. Interestingly the writing of Crookes looks identical in penmanship, yet was written by just placing a pen on top of the mediums index finger. There were also many healers such as the British healer, Harry Edwards. There are many astonishing mediums recorded in history that have undergone the tests of science, and yet there seems to be no other answer given on their abilities to falsify that they do exist.

We need to remember where we come from. Our history has both positive and negative sides, as does the history of all religions. Learning from the truth, we can keep true to ourselves.

Why does Materialization and physical phenomenon have to be a thing of the past? We feel that it doesn’t, but we need to learn how to be more open and receiving as channels for spirit to make it happen.
